Scott Otto Anderson is an Australian-born filmmaker, artist and designer. He graduated from the College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales where he has since returned to lecture in digital video and film.
Scott has directed innumerable projects - from his graduating film Un Film de Jean Baudrillard to the cult music show Alchemy on SBS TV, music videos, shorts and the feature-length documentary Hairtales. He was a founding member of the directing collective Family and he has recently completed the winning Optus One80 MTV drama Dream Life.
In 2009 he and long-time collaborator Oliver Lawrance formed Photoplay Films as a company to develop and ultimately produce film and television projects both long- and short-form. Scott is currently based in Sydney.
Scott is represented for commercial work by Photoplay Films in Australia, Saville Productions in the U.S. and Les Producers in France.
